It was second day of CNY. We planned to have dinner at Duck King but the restaurant was closed. Most of the shops were closed so we decided to try Mexican food at Frontera Bar & Grill.
The restaurant is decorated with colorful crepe papers - Mexican styleInside the restaurant
We skip the appetizer and ordered main course. First dish is Chicken Enchiladas. Itz tortilla with chicken filling baked in tomato-and-chilli-sauce (I guessed!). This comes with tomato rice and baked beans. The dark brown paste on the right (from the picture) is baked beans but it doesnt taste nice.
Chicken Enchiladas - RM28.95
Next is Tex Mex Burrito. White flour tortilla filled with chicken and cheese, rolled. This tortilla wrap is topped with cheese. Yummy~ Also comes with tomato rice and baked beans.Tex Mex Burrito - RM19.95
After that is Spicy Prawn Diablo. Fried spicy prawns served with salad and tomato rice (AGAIN!) We requested the waitress to change the rice to fries instead. The prawns taste like "kung pao" style fried prawns. You can skip this dish - not recommended.Spicy Prawn Diablo - RM29.95
Overall, I would not visit this restaurant for the second time as the food here is just so-so. I would rather go to Carlos Mexicana, Pavilion KL for Mexican food. Will blog about Carlos Mexican Canteena next time.
