Dao Rae Korean BBQ @ Puchong

Craving for korean BBQ? Give a try at Dao Rae. This korean BBQ restaurant have a few branches in Klang Valley and Petaling Jaya. We went to the one at Bandar Puteri, Puchong this time.

Do notice the variety of side dishes served - bean sprouts, sweet potato slices, pickled radish, "ba li tong", mashed potato (it taste sweet - kinda weird), kimchi, spinach and pickled parsley.
We ordered KimChi Jigae - RM16. Kimchi soup with pork belly served in a hot stone pot. I am not a kimchi lover but this soup taste good. It doesn't taste sour and itz loaded with tofu, veges, tang hoon and pork belly.

Korean white rice which cost RM5! This is not the normal white rice you eat at home or chicken rice stall. These grains of rice is very soft and filling. Eventhough RM5 is pricey for a bowl of plain white rice but I really recommend you to try :)

Next is Daeji Gal-bi RM27 - Pork ribs marinated in special sweet soy sauce. This dish was recommended by the waiter.

Another shot of the side dishes.

Pork Special - RM35. Itz selection of cuts from pork slices. This dish was recommended by the waiter also. After the pork slices were cooked, you need to dip it into sesame oil and chilli paste for more flavour as it was not marinated.

Fresh lettuce served FOC with every BBQ dishes ordered. You eat these lettuce by wrapping the bbq meat with bits of side dishes, sesame oil and korean chilli paste. yummy~
